Looking for a celebrant ceremony?
A celebrant wedding is a wedding ceremony led by a celebrant, a professionally trained and insured person who can create a personalized ceremony for a couple. Celebrants can also lead other ceremonies for important occasions, such as naming ceremonies and funerals.
Here are some things to know about celebrant weddings:
Non-legal
Celebrant weddings are not legally binding, as the couple must still visit a registrar to complete the legal marriage. The registrar signing usually takes place either before or after the ceremony.
Types of celebrants
There are different types of celebrants, including Independent, Civil, and Humanist Celebrants. Independent Celebrants can include religious and spiritual elements in their ceremonies, while Humanist Celebrants cannot include religious references.
Flexibility
Celebrants can offer flexibility and personality to a wedding ceremony. They can help ensure that the ceremony is enjoyable for everyone involved.
Please note: The Venue By White it not licensed for a legal binding ceremony. Generally couples will get married at the Town Hall or abroad etc. and will have a celebrant wedding with us for friends and family to experience.
