If you've just got engaged and you're already scrolling through wedding venues on the Wirral, we've got some good news for you.
Our brand-new 2027/28 wedding packages have just been released at The Venue by White in Moreton — and for the first time, we've introduced reduced mid-week wedding prices across every package. That means you can have the full day-and-night wedding you've been picturing, styled by our in-house team, for up to £1,500 less than a weekend date.
Whether you're planning from Birkenhead, Prenton, New Brighton, Leasowe or anywhere else across Wirral and Merseyside, here's everything you need to know.
A wedding venue in the heart of the Wirral
The Venue by White sits at 216 Hoylake Road in Moreton — five minutes from Leasowe and Moreton Cross, ten minutes from Wallasey and New Brighton, and an easy drive from Birkenhead, Prenton, Oxton, Upton, Greasby and West Kirby. If you've got guests coming over from Liverpool, we're just the other side of the Kingsway Tunnel.
Being local matters more than people think. Your guests aren't paying for a hotel in the countryside. Your hair and make-up team can get to you. Your nan can get home. And on the day itself, you're getting married ten minutes from your own front door.
What makes us different from a hotel function room or a golf club is that we're run by an events and styling company. RG Events & Floral — the team behind weddings at Peckforton Castle and Thornton Manor and the Iceland Foods Awards Gala at Chester Cathedral — owns and styles The Venue by White. So the flower arch, the centrepieces, the light-up letters and the magic mirror aren't add-ons from three different suppliers. They're ours, they're in the building, and they're included in the packages below.

We've kept it simple: three packages, each with a weekend price and a new mid-week price. Every package includes a dedicated wedding planner from the day you book.

The Gold wedding breakfast menu runs from chicken liver parfait, goat's cheese tartlet or market soup to start; roast chicken, rack of lamb, roast pork loin, turkey roulade or a vegetarian nut roast for main (beef short rib is available for a £10 per head supplement); and a trio of desserts, chocolate fondue or Lotus Biscoff cheesecake to finish. Every main comes with roast potatoes, seasonal vegetables, Yorkshire pudding and real gravy — it's a proper Sunday dinner, done properly.
Silver Day & Night Package
A more relaxed format with roaming food during the day instead of a formal sit-down meal — perfect if you'd rather have your guests mingling than seated.

Twilight Package
Get married in the afternoon and go straight into the party. Our Twilight package is one of the most popular ways to get married on the Wirral, and it's now our most affordable option.

Our evening buffet options cover everything from beef hot pot with crusty bread, lasagne and chilli con carne to Thai red and green curries, sweet and sour chicken, mixed meat chow mein, pulled pork buns and minted lamb chops — with vegetarian versions of the curries, pasta bakes and lasagne.
Why we've reduced mid-week wedding prices
Honestly, because it's better for everyone.
A Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday wedding gives you the same room, the same styling, the same food and the same team — for £800 to £1,500 less. That's money back in your pocket for the honeymoon, the dress, the photographer, or just not starting married life with a bigger bill than you need.
There are other upsides too:
Far more date availability. Weekend dates for 2027 and 2028 are already going. Mid-week dates give you real choice.
Suppliers are easier to book. Photographers, hair and make-up, cars and entertainment are all more available (and often cheaper) mid-week.
A long weekend for your guests. A Thursday wedding with a Friday off work is a proper celebration.
Quieter roads, quieter venues, better photos. No fighting Saturday traffic between the ceremony and the venue.
Mid-week weddings used to feel like a compromise. With the new pricing, they're the smart choice.

Because our styling team is in-house, you're not paying delivery or hire fees to outside suppliers — it's all handled by us, in our venue.
How it works
Book a viewing. Come and see the room, meet the team and talk through what you've got in mind. There's no obligation.
Pick your package and date. Weekend or mid-week — we'll confirm availability for 2027 or 2028 on the spot.
Plan with your wedding planner. From the moment you book, your planner works with you on room décor, food choices, room layout and feature designs. Floral arches, 10ft trees, table plans, chair dressing, charger plates — you'll be spoilt for choice.
Turn up and get married. We take care of everything else.

Which areas do you serve? We're based in Moreton and welcome couples from across the Wirral — Birkenhead, Prenton, Oxton, New Brighton, Wallasey, Leasowe, Upton, Greasby, Hoylake, West Kirby, Heswall and Bebington — as well as Liverpool, Chester and the wider Cheshire area.
Can we hold our ceremony at The Venue by White? Yes. Our ceremony package is available as an add-on to any wedding package — ask us about arrangements for your ceremony when you book your viewing.
What counts as mid-week? Mid-week pricing applies to weddings held Monday to Thursday. Friday, Saturday and Sunday dates are priced at the weekend rate. [Confirm — adjust if Friday or Sunday is treated as mid-week.]
How many guests can you accommodate? Our packages cater for up to 60 seated guests for the Gold wedding breakfast, up to 80 for roaming food on the Silver package, and up to 100 guests for the evening buffet on every package.
Are 2028 dates available now? Yes — we're taking bookings for both 2027 and 2028. Popular weekend dates are already being reserved, so if you have a specific date in mind, get in touch sooner rather than later.
Do you have a wedding planner? Every package includes a dedicated wedding planner from the moment you book — someone who knows the venue inside out and handles the details so you don't have to.
Is there a deposit? Yes - We ask for 50% of the package total to secure your date. We do accept credit card.
